Privacy and terms
The Privacy and Terms pages on your website, which Gillie writes for you, and how to write your own instead.
The foot of your website links to a Privacy page and a Terms page. Gillie writes both for you and keeps them up to date: Privacy from your details, saying what a booking keeps and how anglers reach you about it, and Terms from your default booking terms. Checkout’s “How your details are kept” link goes to your Privacy page.
You’re responsible for your anglers’ details and your terms, so you can write either page yourself.
Write your own page
- Go to Settings, then Privacy and terms. On a phone, Settings is under More.
- Under the page you want to write, pick Your own.
- Change the words. They start as Gillie’s, so you only change what you need.
- Tap Save in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
Tap View to see the page as anglers do.
What to expect
- Your own words stay as you wrote them. When your details or terms change, change your page too.
- On your own Terms page, anglers still agree to your booking terms at checkout, as they always do.
- To go back to Gillie’s words, pick Written by Gillie and tap Save.
Who can change them?
The owner or an admin. Everyone else on your team can see the page but not change it.
