Gillie Pro

Every business starts on Free, for as long as you like. Pro takes away the monthly booking limit and adds your own domain, your team and an email list. Neither plan takes commission on your bookings, and anglers never see which plan you’re on.

Pro’s price is on Plan and billing and in the pricing on Gillie’s home page. You can pay monthly or yearly.

What do Free and Pro include?

Free gives you your booking website on Gillie’s address, with your trips, dates and card payments. It includes a set number of online bookings each month. Bookings you add yourself don’t count, and Plan and billing shows how many you’ve used and when the count starts again.

Going over is fine: anglers can still book, so you never turn one away. As you near the limit, Today shows a note, and we email you when you reach it.

Pro adds:

• No booking limit.
• Your own domain, like yourbusiness.co.uk.
• Your team, each signing in with their own email.
• An email list for your catch reports: see subscribers.

Move to Pro

Only the owner, an admin or someone who looks after billing can do this. Guides can see the plan but not change it.

1. Go to Settings, then Plan and billing. On a phone, Settings is under More.
2. Pick Monthly or Yearly. Paying yearly gets you two months free.
3. Tap Move to Pro.
4. Pay on Stripe’s page. You come back to Plan and billing when you’re done.

The page then shows you’re on Pro, with the date of your next payment. If Stripe hasn’t confirmed the payment yet, you move to Pro as soon as it does.

Change how you pay

Your card and payments are handled on Stripe’s own pages, so Gillie never sees your card number. On Plan and billing:

• To pay for a year at a time, and get two months free, tap Pay yearly instead. Stripe shows what you pay today before you confirm.
• To change your card, tap Change next to Card.
• To change who invoices are made out to, tap Edit next to Invoices go to.
• Under Invoices, tap PDF to download one.

Stop Pro

1. On Plan and billing, tap Cancel Pro.
2. Read what changes on Free, then tap Continue.
3. Confirm on Stripe’s page.

You keep Pro until the end of the month or year you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again. After that:

• Free’s monthly booking limit is back. Anglers can still book past it.
• Your own domain stops showing your website. Your Gillie address keeps working.
• Your team keeps their places, but can’t sign in until you’re back on Pro.
• Your trips, bookings and website stay as they are.

Changed your mind? Until Pro ends, tap Keep Pro, then Keep Pro again. Nothing is charged now.

If a payment doesn’t go through

Plan and billing shows Payment due, and Today shows a note. Pro keeps working while Stripe tries your card again over the next few days. Tap Change card to sort it now.

If Gillie has given you Pro

Plan and billing shows the date Pro is on us until. To keep it after that, tap Add a card now, pick how often to pay and tap Add a card. Nothing is charged before the date. We email you before it ends, and without a card you move to Free.
